    In Ric’s honor, we have formed an elite group of music lovers in Ric’s name to spearhead the expansion of the Walk the Beat Festival to an additional seven cities in Michigan and continue to and help supply music scholarships for kids!

    In addition the RVWMF his now sponsoring the Grand HAven Free Fridays concert series, bringing together music, small business, nonprofits & COMMUNITY!

    We are all of similar resonance, the desire to share the one thing that can unite us - music.. So let’s compose this together, each of us as a note, a verse or a chorus in a song that honors our friend Ric.

    Tri-Cities Kiwanis is comprised of caring men and women from Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Ferrysburg in Michigan. We serve the children in our community by raising funds to support existing children’s programs, providing several events for children and families, and through personal involvement in giving our time and skills.   • Harbor Humane Society

    Harbor Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter located in West Olive, MI. Founded in 1956 as Ottawa Shores Humane Society, we have been serving our west Michigan community and beyond for over 50 years and we hold the municipal contract for Ottawa County. On average, over 3,500 animals enter our facility each year as strays, animals transferred in, and owner surrenders.

    Harbor Humane Society's mission is to provide a safe harbor for animals entrusted to our care as we strive to secure their future through our outreach and educational programs.

  • Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity

    MISSION, VISION & VALUES

    Tri-Cities Area Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian organization founded in 1989. TCA Habitat has since built over 60 simple, decent and affordable homes in the Tri-Cities. Our hope is to eliminate sub-standard housing in our community. TCA Habitat works in partnership with area churches, businesses and individuals to build simple, decent houses that will become homes for our Partner families.

  • Rett Syndrome Research Trust

    “Our singular focus is to find a cure for Rett syndrome, and we will not rest until we achieve it.”

    At RSRT we are relentless in our dedication to advancing the research to a cure. This is our goal. This is our passion and our obsession. We won’t rest until we achieve it.

    For us it’s personal. Our chief executive officer, chief development officer, and family liaison all have a child with Rett. Twelve of our board members have a child, grandchild, or sibling with Rett syndrome. We are driven by the most profound motivator — love for our children and an unwavering commitment to change their lives and the lives of all with Rett. Backing this up are decades of experience in each of our fields.

  • Kenzie's Be Cafe

    Our mission is to provide meaningful employment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

    We believe that there is a place for everyone in the workforce. While we provide employment our goal is to provide job skills and life skills training so that our BEristas are able to find further employment within our community.

    We strive to provide a place of acceptance for all people in the community. This cafe will provide a place where everyone can come together to feel purpose, importance, and to realize that we aren’t all that different on the inside.

  • Walk The Beat

    Walk the Beat is a volunteer nonprofit organization that builds communities through music. We create opportunities for musical education, relationships and performance. Walk the Beat brings musicians to audiences in unexpected places.

    YOUTH OUTREACH

    We believe providing support and guidance for young people to learn musical skills enhances their creativity, confidence and connectedness to their community. Walk the Beat is proud to assist in multiple ways, including providing lessons, instruments and opportunity to young and aspiring musicians through our Repeat the Beat program. Each year Walk the Beat contributes thousands of dollars to this initiative.
